Withstand Voltage Testing Integrated Machine
An integrated production line core equipment combining high-speed winding and high-voltage testing for large-scale, high-precision manufacturing of film capacitors.
This equipment is primarily used for winding and voltage withstanding testing of high-voltage capacitor components. The
component's plates are made of aluminum foil, and the inter-electrode space is filled with 2~3 layers of polypropylene film as a dielectric. The component is wound at high speed using polypropylene film dielectric material and aluminum foil according to specified requirements; the aluminum foil can be folded and wound at the ends and sides, and the polypropylene film can serve as both inner and outer packaging materials. After winding, the component can be automatically unloaded and undergo voltage withstanding testing. Based on the test results, automatic sorting can be performed, and qualified components can be automatically collected.

The system integrates winding, outer wrap folding, element ejection, withstand voltage testing, and automatic sorting into a single process, enabling unmanned operation and significantly improving production efficiency.
2. High-Speed & Precision Winding
Achieves main spindle speeds up to 700 rpm and linear speeds ≥2500 mm/s. Supports precise winding of film thicknesses from 10–20 μm and foil thicknesses from 4.5–8 μm, accommodating various material combinations.
3. Intelligent Tension Control
Features closed-loop servo tension control with a programmable range of 50–800g, ensuring uniform and stable winding, particularly for ultra-thin materials.
4. Aluminum Foil Folding Process
Supports both leading/trailing end folding and edge folding with adjustable widths (4–8 mm), meeting the plate structure requirements of high-voltage capacitors.
5. In-Line Withstand Voltage Testing & Sorting
After winding, elements are automatically transferred to the testing station. With adjustable test voltage (0–10 kV DC) and flattening range (6–30 mm), the system automatically sorts合格 (acceptable) and不合格 (rejected) parts, enhancing yield rates.
6. Modular Mandrel System
Equipped with expandable mandrels and adapters, allowing quick changeovers for various inner diameters (Φ58–120 mm) to suit different product specifications.

The aluminum foil/dielectric film passes through the roller assembly and tension arm, as shown in the figure. The low-friction cylinder at the rear of the mechanism controls the swing of the tension arm through the swing rod. A potentiometer is mounted behind the bearing block to detect the swing of the tension arm. When the tension of the aluminum foil/dielectric film changes, the potentiometer detects the swing of the tension arm and transmits the signal to the servo motor in the material tray mechanism to control the unwinding speed, thereby controlling the tension level.
The adjustment handle can adjust the front and rear position of the film reel to correct misalignment; the tension knob ensures the film reel is firmly fixed on the rotating shaft; the servo motor drives the film reel to unwind through belt and pulley transmission.
